Responsibilities
- Participate as a senior member of the italki management team
- Define and deliver italki product strategies, roadmap, and execution
- Understand the unique customer needs, problems and opportunities of online language education. Integrate a broad range of insights into product requirements to enhance user engagement, conversions and retention
- Define, monitor and analyze metrics that help to measure the success of products
- Drive the product development and product management process with a multicultural cross-functional team
- Lead and manage the ongoing professional development of a team of product managers
- Continuously improve efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product development or go-to-market leadership, with a minimum of 5 years of leading a team of product managers
- Passionate about technology, mobile, internet, and user experience
- Experience in web, mobile and agile software development
- Proven ability to balance strategy, execution/operation, and user experience
- Proven ability to forge strong relationships, lead cross-functional teams and handle stakeholder management
- Knowledge of functional areas beyond product management such as Engineering, UX/UI, Live Ops, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing
- Fluent in English and Chinese
Plus
- Experience in high tech, software development, education technology industries
- Experience in companies with global / regional presence with multiple offices across different geographical locations
